Aslan Brewing Company turns their brewing waste into feed treasure for a local farmer. The brewery creates a unique closed loop system by repurposing spent grain to prevent waste and cultivate community relationships.
Produced as a group project in a capstone journalism class - I contributed video and audio, worked with the group to determine the story and was the main audio/visual editor and did post-production work.
Gretchen Woodys makes her living doing what she loves, farming. While raising her son, Woodys forges ahead through the challenges of her work and the agriculture industry as she farms sustainably and organically in Everson, Washington.
I operated a camera and assisted in audio/visual editing for this group project produced in a capstone journalism class.

At 86 years old, George F. Drake still lives next to the Big Rock Garden Sculpture Park near Lake Whatcom in Bellingham, Washington. Drake helped start the park years ago as a plant nursery that turned into an internationally renowned sculpture garden. Drake’s son, who has Down’s Syndrome, is now 55 and continues to tend the plants in the park as do other local residents with disabilities.
I shot interview and b-roll footage and co-edited the interview into a story. I edited video and audio with my team to help produce this group project.
